Full Version: Do facelift bumpers/lights fit the non-facelift?

Just reading the thread below about the facelift steering wheel swap wondering if its possible to fit the facelift 958 bumpers and lights onto the pre-facelift? Comparing the two the front bumper and lights look like it might be a straight swap but the rear end looks quite different so probably not viable.

I would be interested to hear if this has been done before, the parts are readily available online and I think id get good money for mine to recoup some of the money back!
A quick google image search shows that its been done before, there's a full forum thread about it but it's all in Chinese unfortunately..

It looks a pretty sizeable job though and I assume you would likely need a respray on the parts even if they were the same colour otherwise you will tell the newer panels from the old.

Oddly enough this isn't teh first time a Porsche related problem was solved in a foreign language only forum. Glad forums like this are catering to the UK market of Cayenne owners.
